FetchIT was founded because, as volunteers at our local city shelter, we saw how low-quality, out-of-date software was causing customer service and animal care workers to spend too much time fighting with the system - time that should be spent taking care of animals and customers. As technologists with many years of experience building large-scale enterprise software, it was clear to us how we could leverage the latest developments in web applications and platforms to build software that was both better and cheaper, freeing animal care professionals to concentrate on their jobs. As animal lovers and advocates, we jumped at the chance to combine our passions and build a sustainable business that could give back to the community.
